Motherhood is sacred work — and it asks everything of us.

Todayʻs modern matriarchs are shaping the consciousness of the next generation amidst broader societal structures that are not set up for families to thrive at a time on the planet when the presence of suffering is immense. Many of us are doing this work alongside tending to the wounds of our own emotional inheritance and learning to reparent ourselves.

Quite the undertaking!

I’m Sarah Lou Warren — a mother, writer, and licensed therapist living on Hawaiʻi Island, where I’m raising two young children and tending a small homestead.

I support women and mothers through the emotional and spiritual initiations of pregnancy, postpartum, and the evolving seasons of motherhood. My approach blends clinical depth with soulful attunement, integrating EMDR, somatic awareness, emotional parts work, and breathwork within a decolonial, spirit-centered lens.

YOU MIGHT BE HERE BECAUSE …

  • You feel stretched thin, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself.

  • You’re carrying unhealed experiences from birth, motherhood, or your own childhood.

  • You sense there’s deeper healing to be done — body, heart, and soul.

You are not broken. You are becoming.
This space invites you to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the woman beneath the noise and the pressure.

THE PATH OF TRANSFORMATION

When we tend to the nervous system, honor our stories, and reconnect with our body’s wisdom, we return to our natural rhythm — one of calm, clarity, and compassion.

Here, therapy becomes alchemy: transforming inherited wounds into wisdom and grounded presence that ripple outward to our children, our communities, and our lineages.

You don’t have to walk this path alone.
Healing begins the moment you allow yourself to be supported.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to connect, answer questions, and sense whether this work feels right for you. I offer therapy sessions via telehealth to residents of Hawai’i and California.
